Dr. A.F.M. Kamal Uddin is a renowned Oncologist in Bangladesh. He is an MBBS, DTCD, MD (Radiotherapy), ICRETT Fellow (SG), and IAEA Fellow (USA).
Dr. A.F.M. Kamal Uddin completed his MBBS degree in 1990 and a Diploma in Chest Disease and Tuberculosis (DTCD) in 1996. In the year 2008, he became the first MD in Rediation Oncology in the country.
He worked at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital from 19993 to 2010. Then he went to attend a six-month IAEA fellowship at the University Pittsburgh Cancer Centre (UPMC), Pennsylvania, USA. He was awarded the ICRETT fellowship of UICC in 2009 and worked at National Cancer Centre, Singapore as fellow.
Currently, he is a Consultant of Radiation Oncology, United Hospital and a Sr. Consultant at Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre & Labaid Specialized Hospital.
He is also an Honorary Consultant of Radiation Oncology, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC).
